Water at School

Summary of the initiative

Sr. Espérance Atimnedi Nyaroki and the Canossian community of “Sacred Heart of Kinshasa” are in serious difficulty in purchasing the drinking water needed for the 75 boys and girls of their Primary School and for the 12 Canossian Sisters of the community. The rainwater, recovered and stored thanks to underground tanks, is used for toilets and other domestic uses but is not drinkable.

We want to build a well to guarantee drinking water all year round, including filters and a water distribution network. There would no longer be any need to buy drinking water, which would also be guaranteed to over 100 families living near the school.
