Sunday, January 19th, Sr. Melissa and all the Sisters in the Omuta community went to the Omuta church. After Mass, Sr. Melissa introduced herself and was translated by Sr. Maggie into Japanese. People are very happy, and this is a very good moment to continue walking in the same faith in God. After that, Sr. Melissa met the young people from Vietnam who were working in Japan.I n that meeting, Sr. Melissa introduced the 2 Canossian Sisters in Australia who were from Vietnam, this was a great joy for them. This was a journey of faith full of love.

On the following day, Monday, January 20, there was a welcoming ceremony at Meiko School, with a performance of traditional Japanese dance from eks students and ballet from Meiko students. After that, it continued with a tea ceremony. It was a truly amazing moment.

Tuesday, January 21, 2025, after a day of meetings with the provincial and council, Me Sandra met with all the Sisters (Omuta).

On the last day, January 22, 2025, the sisters went to Nagasaki, they visited the cathedral, Atomic Bomb Museum, Peace park, and Twenty-six Martyrs Museum and Monument. This is a very touching experience, where we can see how Christian faith grows in Japan. 🙏
