Le nostre sorelle erano in festa per il giubileo di Maddalena. Sorrisi, festa, gioia, preghiera, fraternità con il popolo di Dio!
Qualche ora dopo sono scoppiati degli scontri fra esercito e paramilitari… assedio, armi, lacrime, sofferenza. 24 ore hanno cambiato tutto.
Preghiamo per le nostre comunità e per tutta la gente che sta vivendo queste ore drammatiche.

In Sudan on 14 April 2023 our sisters were celebrating St Magdalene’s jubilee, filled with smiles, celebration, joy, prayer, fraternity with God’s people!
A few hours later clashes broke out between the army and paramilitaries leading to intense fighting, tears and suffering. How everything can change in 24 hours!
Let us pray for our communities and for all the people who are experiencing these dramatic hours. We ask St Bakhita to intercede for peace in her homeland Sudan.
