On Wednesday 26th April more than 70 young people from different parts of India Centre gathered at Andheri to reflect on the theme: ‘Brighten the world with humble charity.’ Accompanied by Canossian Sisters from throughout the Province, the young people had the chance to listen and participate in various activities and deepen their understanding of what it truly means to set life on fire, just like St Magdalene. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to deepen the values at the core of their lives, and to share together what it means to make a difference in the world today. There were also input sessions from Provincial Leader, Sr Audrey D’Souza and General Councillor, Sr Melissa Dwyer which challenged the youth to discover God’s dream for them. We hope and pray that these youth will draw from the inspiration of this event and continue to grow in their faith and their desire to make a positive impact through the way they live. As we celebrate the 250 years since the birth of St Magdalene, may she continue to inspire young people around the world to make Jesus known and loved just as she did.

Mercoledì 26 aprile più di 70 giovani provenienti da diverse parti dell’India Centro si sono riuniti ad Andheri per riflettere sul tema: ‘Illuminare il mondo con l’umile carità’. Accompagnati dalle Sorelle Canossiane di tutta l’Ispettoria, i giovani hanno avuto la possibilità di ascoltare e partecipare a diverse attività e approfondire la comprensione di cosa significhi veramente accendere la vita, proprio come Santa Maddalena. È stata una meravigliosa opportunità per loro di approfondire i valori al centro della loro vita e di condividere insieme cosa significa fare la differenza nel mondo di oggi. Ci sono state anche sessioni di input della guida provinciale, suor Audrey D’Souza e della consigliera generale, suor Melissa Dwyer, che hanno sfidato i giovani a scoprire il sogno di Dio per loro. Speriamo e preghiamo che questi giovani attingano dall’ispirazione di questo evento e continuino a crescere nella loro fede e nel loro desiderio di avere un impatto positivo attraverso il modo in cui vivono. Mentre celebriamo i 250 anni dalla nascita di Santa Maddalena, possa continuare a ispirare i giovani di tutto il mondo a far conoscere e amare Gesù proprio come ha fatto lei.
