Today. On Friday 19 August, our Canossian brother Father Amedeo Cencini celebrated Mass. With the clarity and depth that characterizes him, he left us a beautiful message to live the commandment of love: “Love God with all our heart and love man with divine love, with the heart of God “. Our day today is marked by discernment, sincere research and profound listening to the style of authority that the Lord wants for our Institute.  During the morning we worked in the chapter room thinking together about the characteristics that the Superior General and her Councillors must have. Logically, many characteristics emerged but mostly centred on the human aspect of the person and on her ability to relate.

Tonight we will have a longer time for personal prayer, to ask the Spirit to be docile to His voice.

For this very special moment we count on the prayers of all of you: of our elderly mothers, of the sisters and young people who are in their first formation, of the Canossian laity, of all the lay people with whom we share the mission, of the students of our schools and many friends of the charism of St. Magdalene who support and animate us in these Chapter days, to continue to incarnate today the Charism of the Most Great Love. Many thanks to all!

Sister of Argentina-Paraguay
